About Michelle Harvey
Michelle joined the Arts Commission as Art Loop Manager in 2023. Previously at the Toledo Museum of Art, she held positions as both marketing manager and exhibitions manager. An experienced writer, event planner, project manager and publications specialist, she has held a variety of communications and programming roles at Dana Corporation, the University of Toledo, BGSU and the Boy Scouts. Michelle completed a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Toledo and graduate work in Publishing at George Washington University. A linguaphile, she enjoys historical fiction and poetry and is developing a course on the lost art of letter writing. And as a lifelong lover of nature and wildlife, she completed certification as a forest therapy guide in 2023.
