The Arts Commission has a commitment to making the arts accessible to every member of our community. Our ongoing programs break down economic and geographic barriers to participation and are vital to the creation of a healthy local economy. These Arts Commission programs are offered at no charge to the public and require the support of our community of local donors: Young Artists at Work, Parkwood Gallery, Gallery Loop, ARTOMATIC 419!, Thursday Art Walks, Art in Public Places and Art In TARTA. Programs like these are keeping artists on the job at our area arts organizations, employing young people at a time when youth employment opportunities are limited, and building the skills and markets to assure the business success of our local artists.
