There is plenty to see and do at Artomatic 419!, including lots of workshops, hands-on activities, and demonstrations taking place all throughout the month. See the schedule below. All workshops and activities are FREE! If you have questions, please email us.

Young Artists at Work Alumni Reception at Artomatic 419! - Saturday, April 27, 1-3pm

The Arts Commission invites all YAAW alumni to join us for a gathering on Saturday, April 27th from 1-3pm during the final day of Artomatic 419! At 911 N. Summit Street.
As the YAAW program looks toward its 20th anniversary in 2014, we would like to host a gathering of those who participated in the program in year’s past. All YAAW Alumni are invited to attend for a networking session featuring complimentary snacks and refreshments, and an opportunity to share your YAAW story with The Arts Commission’s staff.

The YAAW Alumni Reception will take place on Saturday, April 27th from 1-3pm in the Green Room (2nd floor) at Artomatic 419!, 911 N. Summit Street. Description: This will be an interactive session for children and adults to explore and improvise music and movement using the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education. Participants will have an opportunity to play the xylophones and glockenspiels in free improvisation, or in a structured way using folk songs and children's stories to create new music.
