Molly Burns

Art in Public Places Coordinator

About Molly Burns

Molly joined the Arts Commission in the spring of 2022 as the Coordinator for Art in Public Places (APP). Formerly with the Toledo Design Collective, Molly was a project lead for the Garfield Community Plan in East Toledo, bringing a sensitivity to neighborhood development to her work in APP. To her, successful use of Toledo's One Percent for Art funds is defined by the sense of place, ownership, and pride that the collection can bring to Toledoans. Molly first became involved with APP by sitting on the Design Review Boards for the Signal Box Wraps on Main Street and sculpture selection for the Glass City Metropark. She holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Miami University and in her free time, you can find Molly playing guitar at Black Kite's open mic nights.
