Chop House Atrium crop

The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, ProMedica Health Systems and the Chop House Restaurant has convened a Design Review Board to commission a large, hanging, glass, dichroic glass, or acrylic installation to be installed in a 4-story atrium above The Chop House restaurant in the headquarters for ProMedica. We seek contemporary work that is airy, bright, whimsical and is visually interesting from every level of the atrium. The work may take advantage of subtle airflow through the atrium and could incorporate kinetic elements.

The project is open to all artists residing in the United States, age 18 and over, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disability. Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines.

The budget for this project is $40,000 with an additional line available for installation and infrastructure needs. This includes all costs associated with the commission including, but not limited to: travel, materials, documentation, transportation and installation of the work.
