Young Artists At Work 25th Anniversary Celebration
July 31, 2019
Young Artists At Work 25th Anniversary Celebration July 31, 2019, 5-7pm Handmade Toledo, 1717 Adams St. Join us to celebrate 25 years of YAAW! This summer, The Arts Commission has employed 44 young artists from the greater Toledo area to undertake several major creative projects in our city- from adding a splash of color to the basketball courts at Savage Park, to developing a mural on Adams Street, to creating artwork for display at Lucas County Canine Care & Control. On Wednesday, July 31, we'll host the Young Artists At Work 25th Anniversary Celebration at Handmade Toledo. Hear from the 2019 YAAW apprentices as they share reflections on the meaningful experience of creating art as part of this program. Visual artwork by the apprentices will be available for sale. Come witness their creativity on display at this free reception! RSVP appreciated at email@example.com
