To celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Young Artists at Work (YAAW) program, The Arts Commission is partnering with Toledo School for the Arts for a young and arty summer party! The free community event highlights activities featuring and/or for young creatives: The annual YAAW art exhibition and student art sale, craft stations, youth music & dance performances, DJ, thrift and vintage merchants, a Handmade Toledo mini maker’s mart, bicycle decorating and tune-ups, food trucks and more.

In partnership with Toledo School for the Arts and Handmade Toledo.

YAAW30 – 30th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Please join at 1pm in the Black Box Theater at Toledo School for the Arts as we celebrate the 2024 apprentices and reflect on 30 years of Young Artists at Work. 

YAAW ALUMNI EXHIBITION
The Arts Commission is proud to host a YAAW Alumni Exhibition featuring art by past YAAW apprentices and instructors. A reception will be held on July 27th at 12pm, in conjunction with Art Loop and the YAAW30 Celebration.

YAAW ART SALE
The sale features a large selection of works created by this year's apprentices using different techniques and mediums, including embroidery, printmaking, collage, and more.
